Today’s Reading: Hebrews 13:5-6
Hebrews 13:5 — Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God promises to be our ever-present sufficiency. Some products that we buy come with the promise “satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.” The company is confident that their product will meet the needs and desires of consumers.
God offers Himself to us as our ever-present helper, someone who can meet our every need by His grace.
We were children of wrath and hopelessly lost, but God decided to help us. Christ’s blood satisfied the justice of God so that we could receive God’s grace for forgiveness and salvation.
We face trials and troubles that we are too weak to handle, but God offers His grace to help us. “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
The author of Hebrews tells us not to rely on money to solve all of our problems and fulfill all of our desires. Money does not know you, love you, or care for you, but God does. Money will not always be there for you, but God will. Money did not purchase your eternal salvation, but God through Christ did.
Don’t love money, love God. God will never forsake you, satisfaction guaranteed!

So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

What a great testimony?
This is the best chance that I can experience who God is!
