Today’s Reading: Hosea 11:8-11
Romans 8:39 — Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God promises unstoppable love. God’s love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). His love never ends. It is unstoppable. God loves His children, and He will never love you or me any more or any less.
God sent Hosea to prophesy to the people of Israel because God loved them. Israel was living in idolatry and sin, which God likened to spiritual adultery. Although Israel’s unfaithfulness filled God with wrath, He did not destroy them. The Lord loved His people. God chastised them, and said He would never, ever give them up.
God hates sin with a passion because it separates Him from fellowship with the ones He loves. Sin ruins our relationship with God when we continue to live in sin and disobedience to His Word. But no sin can separate God’s children from His love since Jesus Christ died for ALL of our sins, and God has forgiven us forever.
The devil lies and says that God will stop loving you if you sin. If that were true, none of us would be here today. If anything could separate us from the love of God, Adam’s sin would have been the end of the human race.
How can you be certain that God loves you? God said so in the book He wrote to tell us how much He loves us. God loves you whether you feel it or not, whether you believe it or not, whether you think you deserve it or not. God gave up everything so that you could have a love relationship with Him. Just let God love you because He does, and He will never stop.

Because God loves me unconditionally, I do not want to commit sin. Sin ruins our relationship with God. If we continue to live in sin and disobedience to His Word. However, thanks to God! No sin can separate us from His love because Jesus Christ died for ALL of our sins, and God has forgiven us forever.
I am not afraid.
His love is so powerful in me. So that I do not want to commit sin.
