Psalm 115:13 — He will bless those who fear the Lord, both great and lowly.
So often, the small and the lowly are overlooked in this world. Their voices are unheard, and they feel unseen and, perhaps, unwanted. But the Lord is the champion of the small and the lowly.
Though He was great, God humbly condescended to be born to a lowly family in a smelly, messy place where animals were kept. To whom did the angels first announce the birth of the Savior? To lowly shepherds who were keeping watch over their flocks by night.
Who else was blessed by the baby Jesus’ birth? Two elderly people, Simeon and Anna. Both of them had been waiting for the child who would redeem both Israel and the Gentiles of all their sins.
Jesus saw and heard the poor, the elderly, children, the physically handicapped, women, and the outcasts of society, like the tax collectors. He blessed them with healing, with His words of truth and grace, and with His recognition that they were valuable to God who loved them.
Great or lowly, all people need to know that they are valuable to God and that He loves them. God blesses those who fear Him. More people need to know and fear the Lord so that they can experience His blessings.

" The Lord is the champion of the small and the lowly."
If I hadn't met Jesus, I would have fallen to the bottom due to feelings of inferiority and failure. I go to the Lord's word every day so that I don't forget that I would have been even lower when I met someone who seemed lower than me. The Lord is the only way to live.

"주님은 작고 낮은 자들의 챔피언이시다."
나도 예수님 못 만났으면 열등감과 실패로 인해 바닥까지 떨어졌을 것이다.나보다 낮다고 보이는 사람을 만났을때 난 더 바닥이었을 것이라는 것을 잊지 않으려 매일 주님 말씀 앞으로 간다. 주님만이 살길이다.
