Spiritual Success

Today’s Reading: 2 Peter 1:1-11

2 Peter 1:10 — Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

God promises a way of successful living. By the grace of God, we have been called out of the world and our old way of living into Christ and new life. Our salvation by grace took place at a moment in time, but our Christian lives continue from that point until we are called home to heaven.

By the grace of God, we have been called to live the Christian life, not remain the same as we were before we surrendered our lives to the Lord. Paul tells us not to live as though we are blind to the fact that we have been cleansed from our sins. We ought to live with a vision of life that comes from God.

God has a vision for each of our lives. He sees where we are and He sees where He desires to bring us spiritually, and this requires growth. Just like a farmer sees a seed and envisions the plant that will grow, blossom, and produce fruit, God sees the potential of our lives.

To live a successful Christian life requires us to humbly partake of Christ’s divine nature. We take in God’s great promises to make us like Christ and let the Holy Spirit apply them to our hearts and souls to produce virtue (moral excellence), spiritual knowledge, spiritual self-control, spiritual patient endurance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love for all people.

The successful Christian life is the life of Christ succeeding to take control of us to make us grow, blossom, and produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Spiritual success is Christlikeness. When we know Jesus more, we become more like Him.

“When we know Jesus more, we become more like Him.”

We married each other.

And then we had our children.

They are just like mother or father not only good part also bad part.

Thanks to Jesus!

He is just perfect!

When we know Jesus more, we become more like him.

We have a Hope becoming like him who has no faults.

Hallelujah!
