Made Perfect

Today’s Reading: Hebrews 10:5-18

Galatians 1:3-4 — Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.

God promises perfection. Followers of Christ have been made forever perfect. When you believed in Jesus and accepted that He is the Son of God who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us, you were perfected for all time.

Perfect how? You were imputed with Christ’s perfect righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21). When you trusted Jesus to be your Savior, His record of perfect, holy obedience to God was made yours. Jesus took your record of sins and paid the penalty for every one of them by shedding His prefect blood. You stand perfect in the Father’s eyes.

God has declared that because of your standing in Christ, He will never remember your sins and lawless deeds. The Father’s forgiveness is complete—it is perfect—so you are perfectly forgiven (Ephesians 1:7).

As God’s child, you also can receive perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Born again believers do not have to fear rejection from God. The blood of Christ that cleansed you and made you a son or a daughter of God grants you access to throne room of heaven where mercy and grace await you in your times of need.

Because of prefect love, prefect forgiveness, and perfect standing in Christ’s righteousness, you can have perfect peace with God (Isaiah 26:3). Paul greeted people with the blessings of grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. He wanted them to experience the blessings of having been made perfect.

Your life may not seem perfect, but you have been blessed with access to perfect life that will get you through everything that happens today. Grace and peace to you today!

“Jesus took your record of sins and paid the penalty for every one of them by shedding His prefect blood. You stand perfect in the Father’s eyes.”

I was born again in the Lord during my first year of college, and many perspectives in my life changed. However, I still don't know what to do in the face of the difficulties and hardships that I have to accept at times. I thought that if I were born again, the hardships and difficulties would not be free, but they would be much lighter. However, I am still wandering without knowing what to do in the face of the hardships that I cannot bear, but there is one thing that…
