Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 4:1-5, 14-20
1 Corinthians 4:2 — It is required of stewards that they be found faithful.
God promises to judge us fairly. The day is coming when each born again believer in Jesus Christ will stand face to face with the Lord for an evaluation of his or her Christian life. The Lord will fairly reward those believers who lived by faith to produce works of grace.
Jesus will reveal our true motives. Did we try to serve God in our natural strength and ability so that we could receive the recognition and praise of others? Or did we rely on God to enable us and minister His love through us so that He would be magnified and glorified?
I remember that my father liked the words hanging on the wall of the church we attended when I was a child. The words said, “Not I But Christ.” The faithful steward of God’s grace lives by that motto.
The faithful steward desires to serve his master without any need for recognition or praise (although it is nice to receive those things). I believe that some of the people who receive the most rewards from Jesus will be people who quietly, faithfully served Him unnoticed by many.
Faithful love is so beautiful. Spouses who love and serve each other after many years of marriage are inspiring. Faithful love, gracious self-sacrifice, and humble service all will be recognized by Jesus, the fair and righteous judge. Receive Christ’s faithful love and then pour it out on Him and others. Freely receive and freely give.

“Receive Christ’s faithful love and then pour it out on Him and others.”
I have received much love from God through my acquaintances who are grateful for it. I would like to share that love again through Chuseok, Korea's Thanksgiving Day.Thank you, Jesus!

“그리스도의 충실한 사랑을 받고 그 사랑을 주님과 다른 사람들에게 나누어 주세요.”
하나님의 사랑을 감사한 지인들을 통해 많이 받아왔다 한국의 감사절 추석을 통해 그 사랑을 다시 나누고 싶다. 주님, 감사합니다
