Today’s Reading: Matthew 6:25-34
Matthew 6:34 — Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
God promises grace for today. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Receive the grace God has given for today and apply it to your present situation. God’s grace is more than sufficient for today’s trouble.
When God sent manna for the children of Israel to eat in the wilderness, He told them to take all that they would need for that day’s meals and to eat it all that day. If anyone kept extra in their home for the next day’s meals, they would discover that it had rotted and spoiled overnight. God’s provision was a daily provision.
God has an abundance of grace for you to receive today for your life today. God will provide what you need for today and you will have to trust Him by faith to provide what you need for tomorrow.
The widow who fed Elijah woke up each day to find she had enough flour and oil to make meals for herself, her son, and Elijah that day only. That widow learned to trust God for His daily provision.
Do the best you can by the grace of God today. Walk in the light of today instead of the shadow of tomorrow. God is in the now of life. “Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Devotional
"God has an abundance of grace for you to receive today for your life today."
Just seeing the healthy appearance of friends I haven't seen in a long time is a great blessing and gratitude. In addition, the Lord's precious words that hit the nail on the head, the food that is right for every meal, and the beautiful ocean view... If this isn't an abundant grace, what is it? I thank God for leading me here.
