Proverbs 11:25 — Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.
When I was a boy, the only translation of the Bible that existed (as far as I knew) was the classic King James Version, so I was mystified when I read, “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” What was a liberal fat soul? I had a difficult time imagining a soul, so it was hard to picture what a fat soul might look like. This verse and other verses in the KJV seemed to say that spiritual fatness was a good thing.
Now that I am older and wiser, I can understand that wise King Solomon was telling his sons to be generous because those who bless others will be blessed themselves. God promised Abraham that He would bless Abraham so that he could bless others (Genesis 12:2). Then God said that those who blessed Abraham would be blessed in return (Genesis 12:3).
This relates to the spiritual principle of sowing and reaping that Paul wrote about in Galatians 6:7-9. When someone sows to the flesh, he will reap corruption; when someone sows to the Spirit, he reaps eternal life. As believers, we have been blessed in Christ with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3). We have the blessings of the truth and God’s love that we can share with others. We can sow and sow and sow, bless and bless and bless, and, in due season, we will reap the blessings of eternal life.
The same Hebrew word for being “enriched” or “made fat” used in Proverbs 11:25 is used in Psalm 23:5 where David wrote “You anoint my head with oil.” This meant that David had been blessed with God’s favor. Now that is a blessing! To receive God’s favor—His grace—is truly a blessing, one of the greatest blessings of eternal life. So, be generous with your blessings from God. Count them, if you can!

Yes, it is right!
We should share with others.
I was praying that our GMC choir and worship team could give the Christmas concert for others.
Especially family members who don't come to church.
Hopefully, we can invite them for a concert and have a Christmas and welcoming party.
Let's pray about it and share what we have the blessings of the truth and God’s love!
